Non Profits to Benefit
humanitarian group
The song ‘Humanitarian” is being released this week and the proceeds will be given to non-profits around the country.  Melody and lyrics are by Ricky Derose; the music is by Steve Wallace.

“I wrote this song after the earthquake that had taken over 200, 000 lives in my hometown Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and left the entire nation with no water, no food and most of them homeless,” said Ricky Derose.

Further conversation brought forth the fact that many of our charitable organizations are underfunded due to lack of support from persons within our communities. The song  is a call to arms for all persons to donate to charitable cause or volunteer their time with the same.

Habitat For Humanity will be a beneficiaries of the proceeds of the recording of the song “Humanitarian.”  In addition, we need support from the DeKalb County community to eliminate sub-standard housing in the county.
